Movie Plot: When Eddie Brock gains the powers of a symbiote, he must give up his alter-ego “Venom” to save his life. While searching for space for new habitable worlds, an investigation belonging to the bio-engineering corporation Life Foundation uncovers a comet involved in symbiotic deformations. The probe returns to Earth with four samples, but one escapes and the ship crashes in Malaysia. The Life Foundation retrieves the other three and delivers them to their research facility in San Francisco, where they learn that symbionts cannot survive without oxygen-breathing hosts, which often reject the symbiosis. Investigative journalist Eddie Brock read about these human trials in a classified document in the possession of his fiancée Anne Weing, a lawyer preparing to defend the Life Foundation’s lawsuit. Brock confronted Life Foundation CEO Carlton Drake about the trial, which led to both Brock and Weing losing their jobs. As a result, Weing ends their relationship.
