On her deathbed, a mother promises never to marry her son, which scares him with psychological barriers to commitment with his girlfriend. They eventually decide to tie the knot in Vegas, but a wealthy gambler arranges for the man to lose sixty-five thousand dollars in a poker game, and offers to pay off the debt for the weekend with his fiancé. Suddenly the man becomes extremely jealous, and pursues his fiancé and his wealthy partner, but finds harm in his way as the gambler tries to delay his intervention.
