Their first story focused on Tai and Kari Kamiya four years before their adventure into the digital world. It depicts his first encounter with Digimon and what happened to him (as well as the other children). Tai and Kari wake up one morning to find a digi-egg that was released from their computer the night before and the egg soon explodes, revealing a botamon. Digimon then evolves into Koromon and then Agumon (not the same one who became friends with Tai in the series, and yet, somehow, both Koromon and Kari miss each other), who then pass out and unknowingly I destroy a good part of the neighborhood. With Kari riding on his back. A second Digi-Egg appears in the sky to reveal Parrotman, an evil Digimon. Agumon then Digivolves Graemon but is not strong enough to defeat Parrotman and is thrown out. Tai catches Kari’s whistle and wakes Greymon, who defeats Totamon and disappears with him.
