Jack McCall is a sharp-witted literary agent who can close any deal, any time, any way. For his selfish purposes, he has used the new age guru Dr. Sinja (Cliff Curtis). But Dr. Sinja is with him, and Jack comes to life after a magical Bodhi tree mysteriously appears in his backyard without sticking. With every word of Jack, a leaf falls from the tree and he realizes that when the last leaf falls, both he and the tree are toast. Jack McCall’s words never fail, but now he has to stop talking and adopt some abusive ways of communicating or he’s a goner.
