Teenager Mia (Sophie Nellise) and half-sister Sasha (Corin Foxx) move to a new school. Katherine (Breck Basinger) pushes Mia into the pool at school and Sasha does nothing. Mia’s father Grant (John Corbett) learns of the incident and plans a boat ride for the sisters to see the magnificent white shark. Grant gives Mia the tooth of a brilliant white shark he found and reminds Mia that she enjoys scuba diving with him.
On the day of the boat ride, Mia is shocked to see that Katherine and her friends are also there for the tour. Sasha’s friends Alexa (Brian True) and Nicole (Sistine Stallone) accompany her to a secret lagoon and seduce her. The girls get on Alexa’s car and have fun together in the lagoon. Alexa reveals that a submerged lagoon is the gateway to the Mayan city where Mia’s father Grant, her assistants Ben (Davi Santos) and Carl (Khalin Rambo) are working to prepare for a visit from a group of archaeologists next week. After finding scuba gear, Nicole persuades the girls to dive into the city, eventually arriving at an ancient sacrificial chamber.
